Alta Fox Capital leverages its investing process and philosophy to selectively invest in the private markets—through both equity and debt investments. Below, we share some of our general investment criteria for private investments:

Areas of Focus

  • EBITDA Range: $2 to $10 million of TTM EBITDA

  • Margin Profile: EBITDA margins >20%

  • Organic Revenue Growth: >5%

  • Check Size: $10-$40 million

  • Control: Preferred

  • Management: Continuity preferred, but not required

  • Industries: Consumer, Technology, Healthcare, Business Services, and Industrial companies

  • Flexible Capital Structure: Invest across the capital structure, including both equity and credit

  • Value Focused: Valuation discipline is central to our process

  • Existing Management Teams: Partners seeking strategic capital to accelerate growth

  • Geography: North America

  • Target Economics: Management incentives tied to value creation

  • Avoid: High labor or capital intensive businesses, cyclicals, basic materials, and early-stage deals
