Role Overview

Location: Stamford, CT

Alta Fox Capital Management is seeking Junior Analyst Interns to join our investment team. This internship is designed for high-performing undergraduate students entering their entering their junior year (the summer between sophomore and junior year) at the time of the internship, with a strong academic record and genuine passion for investing. Interns gain hands-on exposure to the full investment process and experience what it’s like to work as a full-time analyst at a long/short equity hedge fund.

At Alta Fox, interns are trusted contributors—not observers. You’ll conduct real research, build models, and present investment ideas directly to senior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct company and industry research to support active investment ideas

  • Build and refine financial models to evaluate valuation frameworks and key drivers

  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to investment theses

Qualifications

  • Rising juniors (undergraduate students entering their junior year; summer between sophomore and junior year)

  • Strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 3.5)

  • Demonstrated passion for investing and public markets

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial modeling

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Program Details

  • Location: Stamford, CT (walking distance from the train station)

  • Timing: 8-week program

  • Compensation: Competitive
