About Alta Fox Capital

Alta Fox Capital Management is a research-driven alternative asset management firm with offices in Fort Worth, TX and Stamford, CT. The firm manages capital for institutions, family offices, and qualified individual investors using a disciplined, fundamental investment approach.

Alta Fox’s flagship strategy, the Alta Fox Opportunities Fund, was founded in 2018 by Connor Haley and focuses primarily on small- and mid-capitalization public equities. The strategy targets underfollowed, misunderstood, and mispriced businesses where fundamental research and long-term thinking can drive attractive risk-adjusted returns. The firm has grown deliberately and continues to compound capital with a long-term orientation.

Role Overview

Location: Fort Worth, TX (in-office role)

We are seeking a Financial Controller & Operations Analyst who will wear many hats and thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. This role goes beyond traditional accounting: while you must bring strong technical accounting skills, you will also take ownership of operational initiatives across the firm, contribute to process improvements, and support investor-facing activities.

The ideal candidate is someone with deep ties to Fort Worth (or willingness to relocate here) who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within our firm. We are not looking for a job hopper — we want someone who is excited to be part of Alta Fox for the next 10+ years, growing alongside the team.

The firm’s flagship fund, the Alta Fox Opportunities Fund, was launched in 2018 by Connor Haley. The strategy seeks to invest in overlooked and under-the-radar opportunities across asset classes, market capitalization ranges, geographies, and sectors. The firm has an exceptional track record and has grown at a rapid pace.
